Castle Hill High School

Castle Hill Castle Hill Blog 10/07/2026

Another scorching week has flown by but despite the blazing sunshine our pupils have continued to try their absolute best in all that they do. It was my assembly this week to celebrate their achievements and I couldn't have been prouder of them. Here are just a few of our brilliant award winners:

Mobile Phones and Smart Watches

Next Tuesday we will be trialling a new system to ensure that we comply with the DFE mandate regarding banning the use of phones and smartwatches in school. Please see the following social stories which will help to explain these changes to your child. They should have already been through them with their form tutors before the change commences next Tuesday but you may wish to revisit the stories over the weekend.

Wellbeing Support

Parent Survey - Wellbeing

We are currently working hard at Castle Hill on how we support the mental health and wellbeing of the whole school community.

Claire Gwyer (Public Health Advisor for Children and Young People) has been in school over the last two weeks gathering the views of our pupils. They have been outstanding at sharing their views and Claire has expressed just how invaluable their responses have been.

We now need your help -  It would be great to get the views of as many parents/carers as possible. All responses are anonymous and you do not have to give your name   https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/ScB8637Sc2

Please complete this by Tuesday 14th July 2026 - Claire will then work with our school to address any issues raised, any improvements or suggestions and these will form part of our development plan for the upcoming academic year.

And Finally...

Last Friday we were treated to yet another incredible performance from Sam and Amelia. Enjoy!
