Castle Hill Blog 31/01/25
Another busy and wonderful week has whizzed past here at Castle Hill. I have been really impressed by the number of pupils who have wanted to be helpful and kind towards others. Here's a few examples: From taking out the paper bins for recycling, holding doors open for staff and peers to finding lost belongings and taking them to their rightful owner. None of these things were because they were told to, it is because they wanted to. So proud!
Bella's 'Got Mail'!
Bella shared with us her exciting news this morning; she had a letter from the King! This is because she wrote to tell him about the work that she has been doing (alongside family and friends) to promote a greater understanding of prader-willi syndrome. The King was very impressed and so are we. Well done Bella!
Cat in The Hat
If you're feeling a bit glum take a look at this picture to brighten your day. You can tell that this brilliant bunch were having a marvellous time and a really good giggle re-enacting Dr.Seuss' Cat in the Hat!
Captivating Characters!
I wandered into an Art lesson last week and saw Charlie Quinn creating a fascinating model. It turns out that this is one of many marvellous pieces of art work that he has created.
Chinese New Year
Mrs Smolka and her form plus a super extra Robbie McConville brought the magic of Chinese New Year to life in a magical assembly performance.
