The week has ended here with some inspirational training relating to adaptive teaching. Although I have an exceptional staff team, it is important that we never stop our quest to develop and enhance our skills, knowledge and understanding. Our pupils deserve the best quality teaching. The main principles taken from today will be followed up in our weekly meeting/training sessions.
Stockport College Taster Day
Some of our Year 10 pupils took part in taster sessions at Stockport College this week. The range of sessions included hair and beauty, brickwork, mechanics, creative media, ICT and forensics, art, business, painting and decorating and plumbing. They had a great time and their behaviour was excellent throughout!
Multi-Sensory Stories
Pupils in 8P/8W/8E benefitted from this wonderful experience presented by staff from Marple library. Pupils engaged really well and the staff from the library said they were very impressed with their behaviour and sense of humour. They were also impressed with our library and range of resources.
