Castle Hill Blog 28/02/25
Spring has most certainly sprung here at Castle Hill this week; the sun has finally got its hat on and an air of optimism has swept through the school. This feeling has definitely been heightened by the arrival of our beautiful hatchling chicks who have been cared for and loved by Miss Breslin's class members.
Impressive Descriptive Writing
The use of sensory techniques in this piece of work is exceptional and I am very proud of Max in Year 11 for continuing to work really hard in English. Well done for producing such an engaging story!
Sikh Feast!
8H have enjoyed learning about Sikhism using all the senses in their RE lesson this week. As seen from the pictures, they thoroughly enjoyed trying a variety of foods. They've learnt about the food served inside a Gurdwara and enjoyed tasting lots of different delicious delicacies!
Fantastic Fundraising!
Thank you to everyone who donated their clothes, shoes, soft toys and unwanted gifts for 'Donate Clothes for Sammy' this week. We raised £123.20 for CHHS, and also raised valuable funds for Leukaemia and Myeloma Research.
