Magnificent Maths

Shay Worswick in 8P has been working really hard in his Maths lessons this week, we are very proud of him.

After School Clubs

One of the most important skills that our pupils learn is to how to socialise with their peers. I am delighted to share our after school club offer. If you haven't received a letter regarding any of these clubs but would like your child to join, please contact your child's form tutor. P.s this fabulous poster was designed by our very talented Mr Morley!

Super Simba!

Our gorgeous new therapy dog has brought great comfort to all who have needed it this week. His soft and patient demeanour creates a real sense of calm and kindness. We are truly blessed to have him.

And Finally...

This week has been extremely difficult as our school community learns to process the death of one of our beautiful 6th form students, Roxy Oldfield. However, great comfort has been brought about through the kindness and compassion shown by all. I cannot express enough gratitude to the staff who gently guided many of our students and pupils through one of their darkest days. The students themselves showed great support to one another. Although the situation is incredibly sad, I couldn't have been more proud of everyone in the way in which they responded. We will find many ways to remember Roxy and will share these ideas with you all in the coming weeks.

If you would like help to talk to your child about what has happened or need some extra advice or support you may find this link helpful:

Also, any member of staff will gladly do their best to help so please do get in touch if you need us.

I would like to ask that you respect Roxy's family's right to privacy at this time and allow them to come to terms with what has happened in peace. Please remind your children not to post any related content on social media.

I wish you all a restful weekend!
