A Special Mention

Dominic Cosgrove brought a vintage film camera along on the Year 11 trip to London, and it turns out he’s uncovered a real flair for photography. I'm sure you will agree he has a natural talent!

Spring Chicks!

9K pupils have absolutely loved having the chicks in the classroom. They have watched with fascination as the eggs began to crack and tiny beaks appeared. Caring for the chicks has given them a hands‑on understanding of responsibility too, from keeping them warm to making sure they have food and clean bedding. It’s been a magical experience that’s brought science to life in the most memorable way. As you can see by Lola's and Willow's beaming smiles!

Easter Delight!

If you’re someone who looks forward to the biggest chocolate celebration of the year, you’ll definitely appreciate this delectable masterpiece Thomas has crafted.

Church Visit

This week three classes from year 9 made the short trip to All Saints Church in Marple to experience an Easter extravaganza, put on by an amazing team of volunteers from the local church community. Pupils took part in a uniquely immersive experience, as they moved around six ‘stations’ within the church; each dramatising and exploring different aspects of the Easter story. Pupils came face-to-face with Roman centurions and Mary Magdalene and reflected on important Easter themes of injustice and hope. The elaborate staging of the event, and thought-provoking activities, made for a stimulating and memorable experience. A huge thanks to the church team for putting on such an imaginative show for the pupils.
