Castle Hill Blog 23/01/26
This week at Castle Hill, our community has been reflecting on one of the most important issues of our time. Climate change.
Mr Hadley led an inspirational whole school assembly, encouraging everyone to think about the impact we have on the planet; especially through our use of plastic and the need to recycle more responsibly. His message was clear. Small changes, made together, can make a big difference.
He also invited pupils who want to help shape a greener future to join the new Climate Action Group, which will lead environmentally focused projects across the school.
Pupils listened with real respect and engaged thoughtfully. We look forward to seeing what the Climate Action Group achieves as we continue working toward a cleaner and more sustainable future.

Pirates Ahoy!
They say that everyone has a standout talent, but only some people get the chance to discover what theirs is. This carefully detailed pirate treasure map, created by Charlie in Year 7, highlights the growing potential he has in his art. The thoughtful layout and attention to detail show a developing skill that is encouraging to see. I can't wait to read the story behind the picture!

Murderous Macbeth!
Take a look at this brilliant cartoon summary of the opening of Shakespeare’s epic play, Macbeth. You can really see how much thought and effort has gone into it. The pupil has picked out the key moments, added plenty of detail and managed to capture the dark, dramatic mood of the story in a fun, visual way.
