Facelift

The week's BIG news is that we've had the eyesore that was our heating chimney tower, re-cladded over the Easter break and it's looking great. We're still waiting for a new 'Welcome to Castle Hill' sign to be attached and once that's complete the tower will be a great signpost for school, as visitors drive down The Fairway. 

One careful owner?

We've also acquired a car over the break! We wanted to enrich our key stage 4 vocational curriculum with a Basic Car Maintenance course and rather than rely on books, worksheets and video clips, we decided that the best way to learn was hands-on. Students will be learning how to check tyre pressures, oil levels, screen wash etc.... all the basics that they'll need for real in a few years' time.
