Well we made it to the end of term and what an exciting crescendo of events leading us towards the wonder of Christmas!
Christmas Panto
The whole school were enraptured by an utterly entertaining adaptation of Cinderella. The pupils enjoyed dancing and singing along with the characters' slap-stick performance. Thank you NK Theatre ARTs for a magical day!
Christmas Concert
The talent we have in our school is just incredible, with performances from the School music club and then individuals singing, playing drums and various musical instruments it really was a fantastic show. I would like to give a special mention to some of the staff who gave up hours of their time so that we could have such a spectacular end of term celebration: Dave Morley, Ruth Smolka, Patrick Sandiford and Holly Thompson-THANK YOU!
Christmas Dinner
The School enjoyed a banquet of treats yesterday thanks to our wonderful kitchen and vocation centre staff; the hall was filled with mouth watering smells and happy chatter. The big man himself even made a quick appearance to gift the pupils an extra treat.

Staff Changes in English
We bid a fond farewell to Emily Davies our head of English, we would like to thank her for her hard work and dedication to the school and wish her all the best in her next adventure. We are pleased to congratulate Natalie Dean who will be taking over the helm as the subject leader for English. We are also looking forward to welcoming back Rachel Marsh to our school who will be joining the English department.
And Finally...
I am treated to Demi-Lea's brilliance on the bag-pipes every Friday she comes to brighten my day with a tune or three. It is really is a privilege to be able to enjoy the company of such a talented and kind young person!
