Face masks

As I'm sure you've heard, the Government have changed their guidance on face coverings and it's no longer recommended that students wear these in lessons. Should your child wish to continue doing so then that, of course, is fine.

Orienteering

Parents' Evenings alternative

As you'll be aware, because of the risk of having large number of visitors in school at the moment, we've had to cancel the Parents' Evenings that were planned for this half term (Years 7-11). Next week we'll be sending home the letter shown below, which explains our alternative plan. We used this system during last year's lockdown and it worked well. Annual reviews are continuing to run in school as normal, giving all parents and carers an opportunity for a face to face meeting at some point during the year.
