We've produced a poster to thank everyone who donated to our Gofundme page to rescue our forest school after the fire. This will be going up on both sides of the KS3 yard fence, so it can be seen from the playground, and from our basecamp area.
We also got some slate signs made, to name some of the significant forest school landmarks in recognition of some of our very generous benefactors.
And if you want to have a good nosey round our magnificent forest school facilities, you can volunteer to plant some flowers on Saturday 18th May to further add to the magical landscape that our legendary forest school leader has created.
Sensory Stories
I believe that one of the greatest gifts we can bestow on a child is to sit and read to them. Such is the joy of sharing a story. This week Marple library came to visit some of our pupils. They went on a literary adventure, using sensory props to create an immersive and engaging experience for all!
Recycle Centre Visit:
As part of the Year 11 ASDAN unit My Environment, the class visited the central Manchester reuse hub to learn about the recycling processes.

And Finally...
I love to see the progress our pupils make as a consequence of the kindness, enthusiasm and relentless encouragement they receive here at Castle Hill. Connor Seaton wrote his own name to the left/middle of this picture, for the first time all year. He also drew these happy monsters in DT. Well done Connor!
