I had the pleasure of observing 7A in an English lesson this week. I was so impressed with how calm and focused they all were. Their ideas were fantastic and it was truly wonderous to be in the classroom with them, as you can see the work they produced was VERY impressive!

London Residential
The Year 11 residential trip to London offered pupils an exciting and varied programme of activities designed to introduce them to key aspects of the capital. The group had a wonderful time on the river cruise, this provided an opportunity to view several well‑known and striking landmarks from the water.
Pupils and staff travelled around the city using the Underground. For many, this was their first experience of navigating a major metropolitan transport system. They have done so well not to become overwhelmed and we are really proud of them! Staff reported that pupils were mesmerised by the epic musicals such as Back to the Future and Matilda.
The group also visited the London Eye, many pupils appreciated the chance to observe London from a different perspective.
Overall, the trip provided a broad introduction to London and created shared experiences with friends and staff that they are likely to remember forever! A huge thank you to the incredible staff who made it possible.
