Sensory Sentences

Our KS4 Nurture group have had a busy week, they have been channelling their inner Bruce Bogtrogger...(A character from Roald Dahl's Matilda) The class were using the senses to compose their own short descriptive sentences to express their thoughts aloud:

Bryony "I can taste the chocolatey buttercream."
Isaac "I can smell the sugary chocolate cake."
Rani "I can see the big, brown chocolate cake."
Tia "I can see the brown swirly buttercream."
Anthony "The cake is big and chocolatey."

Oh Christmas Tree! 🎄

Our friend Alan Clews has yet again very generously donated us a magnificent Christmas tree from his business HAC plants. The children had a wonderful time decorating the tree, I'm sure you will all agree it looks spectacular!

Christmas Fayre Saturday 9th December

The Castle Hill community has been working hard to ensure that there are plenty of sparkling gifts and goodies at the Christmas Fayre for all to enjoy. Our local Aldi store kindly made a donation and the pupils in our KS3 nurture class enjoyed selecting some wonderful raffle prizes and having fun in the Aldi store.

And Finally...

In 7B's life skills lessons, they have been learning BSL. So far, they have learnt the alphabet, colours and signs for items of clothing. They have also learnt this well known Christmas song. Enjoy!
