Castle Hill Blog 04/04/25
Our pupils have excelled themselves in the past week showing bravery, respect and kindness. I am so very proud of them for being such fantastic advocates for our School!
Let's Go To Work!
One of the core aims here at Castle Hill is to ensure that pupils can leave us having a sound knowledge of how it feels to go to work and what skills are needed to be able to gain independence for the future.
During work experience week last week many pupils participated in a work placement and showed real commitment, responsibility and maturity. Well done Year 11.
Isabel spent the week at St Thomas' Primary School. Staff were really impressed with Isabel's hard work and her calm and caring nature.
James went to Lisburne Primary School where he supported staff and pupils. He had an excellent time and Lisburne were very proud of him!
Genesis went back to his old Primary School, Adswood Primary. He supported the younger pupils with their learning, spending the majority of his time supporting PE lessons. The school was really impressed by how mature and helpful he was.
Kaden went to Stagecoach in Stockport and had a fantastic time helping in the offices. Stagecoach were really impressed with how much Kaden applied himself and attempted all tasks given.
Ramadan Greetings!
7M have been learning about Islam. They enjoyed learning about Ramadan and made some pop up cards.
Walk and Wheel
Will was inspired by the 'Big Walk and Wheel' challenge, he walked the 3.8 miles to school.
Last week he walked to his work experience placement each day making about 8 miles in total then too.
What a fantastic achievement, well done!
Fantastic Frobscottle!
8W have made our own Frobscottle drinks in English which is linked their current class English novel: The BFG.
