What a wonderful first week back after the holidays! The sun has been shining and the pupils have been a pleasure to be around with much to celebrate. A massive well done to all of the Year 11s who have worked incredibly hard in their Art GCSE exam. Mrs Mullen expressed that she is very impressed with the high standard of work that has been produced. Some of the Year 9s have enjoyed a day trip/residential visit to Alton Towers, a big thank you to all the staff who supported them and to the pupils whose behaviour was exemplary! We had a fabulous time at our Let's Get Quizzical event last night, thank you to those of you who showed your support for this brilliant occasion organised by Laura Agnew. I'll reveal the grand total raised in next week's Blog.

Flying High!
Look at this intricately designed model aeroplane, I love the colour combinations. It shows attention to detail and patience, well done Liam.
Travel Training
As part of the year 7 life skills unit, 7M enjoyed their morning out travel training to Stockport and back. They learnt how to use a bus pass and buy bus tickets, how to cross roads safely, how to use different crossings and explored the Stockport interchange. They were fantastic!
