Riding the Rapids
After the success of the previous training, we will be running another 10-week 'Riding the Rapids' programme for parents and carers in the summer term. The course aims to help parents to understand and manage challenging behaviour shown by their child. The first session will be on Thursday 28th April, 9.30 - 12.30 and then every Thursday after that for 10 weeks (excluding the half-term week). The sessions will be in school. We have limited spaces available so please contact school as soon as possible if you are interested, ask to speak to Rosie Sanderson (Programme Facilitator) or Pauline Johnston (Family and Multi Agency Link Officer).
Parent Group
We are planning our next Parent Group meeting for Wednesday 16th March, 1.15-2.30. Mrs Nellis will be answering some of the questions raised at the last meeting and Mr Adie will be giving an overview of the role of our Pupil Support team. There will also be an opportunity to let us know what areas the group would like us to focus on in future meetings. Everybody is welcome to join the meeting and if you'd like more information then please contact Mrs Johnston, pauline.johnston@castlehill.stockport.sch.uk.
World Book Day
We marked World Book Day on Thursday with a variety of activities around the theme of the magic of reading and it was great to see so many students dressing for the occasion!
