It's Friday again, I hope that you have all had a good week. It's been explosive here at Castle Hill, well in Year 8 Science lessons anyway...They have been learning about igneous rocks and how they are formed from lava cooling after volcanic eruptions.

Measles
There are currently no cases of measles in our school, but we have been advised by the local authority health team to make our school community aware of the symptoms and care guidance:
Stunning Symmetry
Take a moment to appreciate the intricacy of these symmetrical tiles that year 9 have made. They are themed on shapes and nature, taking inspiration from Islamic tiles. Fabulous!
Children's Mental Health Week
Next week we will be celebrating Children's Mental Health Week. Pupils will be encouraged to participate in reflective activities. On Friday, they will be able to wear the clothes that make them feel individual, comfortable and happy.
College Visit
Some of our Year 11 Hub pupils enjoyed an exploratory trip to Cheadle College, I think they had a good time!
