Individual Learning
Learning Grids
In the Hub we put every pupil at the centre of their learning journey, taking into account their individual needs and adapting our teaching styles and learning environment in order to maximise their potential.
We utilise every opportunity throughout the school day, including transitions and unstructured times, to explore valuable learning opportunities.
Our main focus in the Hub is to ensure that our curriculum breaks down the barriers to learning for all of our pupils and enables them to succeed.
When your child joins the Hub, their form teacher will make them an individual learning grid with targets to work through during the autumn term. These targets are focused around English, Maths, IEPS and the Autism Education Framework. This will be monitored and updated to reflect progress and you will then be provided with an updated individual learning grid in spring and summer terms.

Homework Learning Activities
Each half term, we provide home learning activities which focus on reading, maths and life skills. These activities are optional, however, should provide fun hands-on learning opportunities for your child. Any completed activities can be shared via pictures on Seesaw, if you choose to.
