Exam season is now in full swing here. This week, our Year 10 and 11 Drama pupils completed their Communication Skills exam—and we are thrilled to share that every single pupil passed with either a Merit or Distinction! The dedication and hard work these pupils have shown in the lead up to the exam has been truly outstanding. We couldn’t be prouder of how they conducted themselves, both in preparation and on the day itself. Their performances reflected not only their growing confidence and communication skills, but also their commitment to doing their very best. They are an absolute credit to Castle Hill as are the staff who have worked tirelessly to ensure that the pupils were prepared to give their very best.
Marvellous Maths
8H have tried really hard this week in Maths. They have been working with concrete resources to add and subtract two and three digit numbers. I am very impressed by the level of concentration in particular in this hot weather. Well done 8H!
Mystical Masks
This term our year 8's have been exploring masks in art, This week they were challenged to make some larger than life masks and we have some wonderful creations from Shay & Alex.
The ideas are all their own and the skills they have used have been used in other tasks, showing how they have practiced and honed newly acquired skills. It was fab see how proud they were and hear the praise from their classmates too.
Colourful Creation
Year 7s have been making their own toys in design and technology this term. I'm sure you will agree that this vibrant cat design is simply superb. Well done Abbey!

Since we began sending text messages home every week, reporting on pupil nominations for exceptional behaviour and work, there have been 2767 nominations made in total. That's 2767 examples of us celebrating success, since September!
